The Wodaabe are a nomadic people populating the Sahel desert of West Africa. Once a year in a few select locations, their tribe gathers to celebrate the fantastic tradition of Gerewol.

Kneeling on the salt flats of the Chalbi Desert in Northern Kenya, this Rendille warrior surveys the path home.

Formally know as Lake Rudolf, Lake Turkana lies within the Kenyan Rift Valley.
