The Rafflesia Arnoldi, the biggest flower in the world is found nowhere else except in Indonesia. These rare plants are only found in the southern part of Sumatra, especially in  the Bengkulu Province. This exotic flower was first discovered in 1818 by a British lieutenant, who at the time was  Governor of Bengkulu, Sir Thomas Stamford Raffles and Dr.Arnoldy, a botanist.
