Ingredients:
	•	1 lb beef stew meat, cubed
	•	1 cup barley
	•	3 carrots, sliced
	•	2 potatoes, diced
	•	1 onion, chopped
	•	4 cups beef broth
	•	1 tsp thyme
	•	2 bay leaves
	•	Salt and pepper to taste


Directions:
	1.	Brown beef in a pot, then add onions and cook until translucent.
	2.	Add barley, carrots, potatoes, beef broth, thyme, and bay leaves.
	3.	Bring to a simmer, cover, and cook until meat and vegetables are tender.
