An Italian-American Twist on Stuffed Cabbage Rolls
This recipe is close to my Mom's recipe for cabbage rolls (with a few slight changes in ingredients, i.e, she used onion instead of garlic in the meat mixture, and I don't think she used parsley.) **The real secret to the great taste of her cabbage rolls was that she placed them on a bed of sauerkraut instead of just extra cabbage. I miss her "German inspired" dishes so much... but not nearly as much as I miss her still being a part of my life.
