I'm always finding ways to recycle old windows. This was also a good way to recycle some scrap wood as well. Just add a couple brackets I found at a yard sale and in no time I have a way to display my spring decor. Gold star for us, we finally tackled our first pallet project! We've had a sailing picture in our coastal themed room for a few years, and we were getting tired of it. So, we decided to put our "DIY" hat on, and make ourselves something new for the wall. Here's essentially all we used; a mirror, and a pallet. we also used wood glue and a few other things. Within the last couple months, I've seen a ton of really cute rattan sunburst mirrors making a trend lately. Perfect for any bohemian touch to a room. Even in the dead of winter, I am buying plants. My husband thinks I'm crazy, (Yeah, crazy plant lady!) but he supports my love for greenery any way he can. Most recently, he helped me create more space indoors to contain my growing number of plants. I also needed a spot high enough that our dog wouldn't be able to nibble them.
