The Grilled Cheese Cheeseburger 🍔
This is so gang good and here’s how I do it at home. This started out as a Five Guys menu hack where you order one of their grilled cheeses and add a patty. Well essentially you’re just making a patty melt but hey I’ll call anything a grilled cheese 😂 —————————————————————— Starting out with a sliced yellow onion. Preheat the griddle to 375 and splash some oil down. Add your onions and salt them up. Griddle them till they’re golden brown and soft. Slide them over. Crank the griddle up to sear. Next take your 4-5oz balls of 80/20 chuck and smash them down with your spatula. Press them into the griddle and then let them cook for a few minutes. Salt and pepper your first side. Flip and repeat for the other side, moving the burgers off the heat when done. Lower the griddle temp to 350.

1hr · 8 servings Ingredients • 1 lb elbow pasta • 2.5 cups shredded cheese (I use a mix of Colby and monetary jack and parmesan) • 1 8 oz block cheddar cheese (sliced into 1/2 thick pieces) • 4 cups 2% or whole milk • 4 tbsp butter • Salt and pepper to taste • OPTIONAL: Panko breadcrumbs on top Directions • Preheat oven to 350 degrees and spray an oven safe baking dish with cooking spray. • In the baking dish add in the milk, salt and pepper then add in the noodles. • Add in half of the shredded cheese and then the slices of cheddar cheese on top and mix very well making sure no noodles stick together. • Top with slices of butter pushing them down a bit and making sure all the noodles are covered by the milk/cheese mixture. • Cover and bake for for about 50-55 minute
