Our last but not least, the Asian domination, from left Chriselle Lim (@chrisellelim) then Irene Kim (@ireneisgood) and Aimee Song (@songofstyle) looking uber polished and chic during #FashionWeek presentations, juggling between their Instagram, Snapchats, and probably gazillion of other social media platforms. These girls are definitely running some serious business (and style!)
Its a blend of geek and chic with solid @gucci accessory refrences, expensive vintage look with frills and glitter, shine and sequins to flouncy column dresses all packed in a studious seventies sensibilty by Alessandro Michele (who took over from Frida Giannini at the beginning of this year) The house's signature red and green and GGs are brought back in a glimmering style which makes the Alessandro effect looks set in stone to stay! #MFW
The editor/ consultant and all around troublemaker, Shiona Turini (@shionat) is definitely a shining star on the street-style playground. Her feminine eccentricism catches worldwide attention during fashion week, and her personality is as cray cray fun as her personal style. From her love of Alaia, YSL, and shoes in general, shes taking her style game up notch by notch every season! #FashionWeek
Because of her strong online following (yes 113,000 to be exact) she was appointed an ambassador of L'Officiel Singapore and a social media star! She attends and covers major fashion shows around the world on behalf of the magazine, which gives her a chance to learn from the best. She has garnered attention for her minimalist, menswear-inspired style and her enviable closet is filled with designer items. Way to go @yoyokulala! #FashionWeek
Alexander Wang marked his three year career end at @balenciaga by dancing, snapping selfies and twirling down the runway. Paraded his swan song with the most tender and freest design since he started, made from the most exquisite linens, cotton and voile in all shades of ivory. The smocking, ruching, ladder stitching remained soft and polite with a hint of his sporty signature. A truly artisanal show! #PFW
Its always a fab-fab world for @bat_gio season after season. Theres a certain boldness and energy about this one, making her a mainstay on the street style playground! This #FashionWeek she donned a few statement pieces like the red @commedesgarcons outer and laying low with @aquazzura's Belgravia flats, but of course with great big volume up her sleeves.
Captain Karl surely knows how to navigate Chanel in all the right directions. This coming spring summer, you'll be thrilled to own bits and pieces from the witty and kitsch hard-case wheelie carry-on bags, tweed strap sandals, shades of blue and red flap classics and the list goes on. What kept all of us amazed was the fact that we still cannot wait for what Karl will come up with next season! These was one of those collections where you know will fly off the racks once they land in-store.
A cross culture fusion was gorgeously presented at @maisonvalentino SS16. Between a heartfelt African story and the glamour of Italy, they met in the textiles and the way Roman influences Chiuri and Piccioli segued into tribal treatments. Masai derived patterns, bold peacock leather trims, ebony shoe heels, tie dye patterns collided with lace and Italian cuts which results in frivolous and joyful cultured collection. #PFW
Fresh burst of energy coming from Consuelo Castiglioni's @marni.official S/S 2016 show, white, daffodil yellow, lego red and bright blues are making statements at the show. Wide leg trousers, split tunics, layered dresses, tabard styles and lets look at those rounded cut-out dress worn on top of a minimalist black mini! Swoon! A true Marni signature complication. #MFW
