I’s not my taste but definitely a piece of art. A Hitatsura hamon is basically a full tempered blade with spots of tobiyaki (hardening spots in the body of the blade and or along the spine). Posted 2 tanto examples with a hitatsura hamon back in March.

Osafune Masamitsu Jo Saku Nanbokucho Koto (ca. 1368) - NBTHK Tokubetsu Hozon Token A Soden Bizen katana by one of the primary students of Kanemitsu, featuring the distinctive o-kissaki style of the times. A candidate for Juyo. Ensuite with koshirae.
