The news about the technology behind the Mazda RX9 seems to have surfaced again. T’s Media of Tokyo has discovered a new Mazda sports car which has found a patent in the form of a car propulsion system with the following formula: Rotary engine, capacitor, small electric motor, and hybrid AWD. The small electric motor shown in the patent is embedded in the front axle and is fed by a capacitor and a small lithium-ion battery with only 3.5 kWh.
