We heard a heck of a row coming from our back garden first thing in the morning. We were immediately concerned in case an animal had been hurt. We traced the noise to a large tree in our garden and we could see a squirrel - a grey squirrel. We weren't too sure what was wrong because of the awful noise he was making. This finally stopped and the squirrel appeared okay as he was sitting on a branch. We went indoors and both agreed we never realised squirrels made such loud noises. I looked out…

The Owl Sanctuary and Reflections Of An Owl's Eye
A while back there were owls in our local town. They were from the Screech Owl Wildlife Park near Indian Queens, Cornwall. As I had my camera with me I snapped a few photos and put some money in their bucket. One of the photos really caught my eye - as I saw my own reflection in the owl's eye! Not a very elegant pose. THE VICIOUS SEAGULLS
This fellow was checking out the sign and pleading his innocence! Must admit though that some of the seagulls have a definite taste for take-a-ways, sandwiches and chips. I saw one recently swoop down and snatch a child's cake - so there were floods of tears. The problem is that visitors will feed them - the seagulls, that is - so they take the easy option when looking for their lunch.
