Henri Pieck

Twin brother of Anton Pieck. Henri Christiaan Pieck, a Dutch artist and illustrator of children’s books as well as an architect. Henri Pieck was captured by the Nazis in 1941 for his part in Dutch resistance to German invasion in World War II. He spent the rest of the war in German custody and part of that time in the Buchenwald concentration camp.
