William Parr was born 1513 he was the brother of Henry VIII's last wife, Kateryn Parr. Henry called Parr, "My Integrity" and he was also known as the 'beloved uncle" of King Edward VI, in whose court he played an active role. Sentenced to death by Queen Mary I, he was nonetheless freed, his titles restored by Queen Elizabeth I. He was charming and debonair, but with a complicated marital history.
