Lemon Velvet Cake with Lemon Buttercream Icing. 1 box lemon jello 3/4 cup hot water 3/4 cup oil 4 eggs 1 box of lemon cake mix. Preheat oven to 350. Dissolve jello in hot water. Mix remaining ingredients and pour into cake pan and bake for 35-45 minutes until done. Cool completely. Add zest of one lemon and juice from half a lemon to homemade butter cream icing. Mix well and ice cake.
