Prince Alexander Ferdinand of Prussia (26 December 1912--12 June 1985), only child of Prince August Wilhelm. Like his father, Alexander was a supporter of Hitler and served in the German army. When other princes earned Hitler's mistrust and were dismissed from their commands, Alexander was allowed to remain at his post. In 1938 he forfeited his succession rights to marry Armgard Weygand, widow of a Luftwaffe major. They had 1 son, Prince Stephan.
