Although not rare in Borneo, luminescent fungi are always an exciting find. This species (possibly Filoboletus manipularis) varies quite a bit in its luminosity, with some strains being barely discernible even in total darkness. I've long been on the lookout for an exceptionally bright cluster of mushrooms in order to get a shot of them at dusk just as the forest is growing dark.
