It was a great spring for badger sightings in Yellowstone. I think I saw at least 10 different badgers during my May and June trips combined. This was the closest encounter, a younger badger that was scurrying around right next to the road. I quickly grabbed my big lens and took a couple of hand-held shots as it came by.
