sold by .50 ounce **1 ounce shown** Leicester Longwool - hand dyed wool locks. Average 6 inch (some longer/smaller)with a lustrous sheen and soft crimp. These are USA fleece purchased raw. You may still find some small bits of hay as this is a natural product but please know that I spent considerable time picking through the locks to remove all that I could find. These have been scoured before dyeing and softly washed and rinsed after. It is still possible to have slight color running if you are using hot water and if you have purchased a darker shade. Mix and match for some amazing creations! Each has been dyed with joy and thought taken into the color choice. There is intentional color variation and some of my colored locks have natural shades of the wool as well (creamy white to honey yellow) See pictures. Be aware that shades may be slightly different in person depending on your computer screen. NOTE: When separating, pull locks from the tip to cut end. There are so many uses for wool locks: Spinning, weaving, knitting, crochet, wet felting, needle felting, doll hair, gnome hair and beard, Santa hair and beard, embellishments, and just to look at because they are so pretty!
