Architecture Before and After of a Victorian home with an L-shaped dormer

This is a subtle contempory extension to a Victorian semi- detached house which lacked a connection to the outside. The bifolding glazed doors as well as the wall to ceiling glazed panel allow the extension to be flooded with light as well as being inkeeping with its surroundings. Tradtional render is offset with natural timber with a shadow gap cladding the extension. The L-shaped dormer which was resisted firstly at planning now provides the client withe the much needed extra light space.
