paper landscape

"Vertical Landscape" by Eiko Ojala. It looks like a paper landscape but the artist actually works digitally and hand-draws all the elements to look like they're cut out of people. (Hint: the shadows help!

The Hiroko Matshushita The paper-cut book works: I love how this book looks and it's given me inspiration on how to set out my book. I know that I want to do a book with papercut and this looks really good and neat and a unique way of setting out my book.

This is a very cool example of artwork created using cardboard on a large scale. The creator of these outfits used simple brown box cardboard to design and make five different wearable designs. The first three designs look like every day dresses that someone could wear. For these, the artist used cardboard curling and shape cutting techniques to make small and large details. The last two designs are more costume like and are very detailed.

Love these creative cardboard costumes! Such wonderful material, cheap. easy to work with, flexible ( fold and pull over hard edge until you get the shape you want). These costumes are by design students - cardboard catwalk.
