5 Ways to Stretch Your Calves (a Must For Runners and Heel-Wearers!)

From sports to high heels, the calves can be a tight area, and a foam roller or rolled up yoga mat can work wonders for these muscles. Try this: kneel with your hips stacked above your knees and place a rolled up yoga mat(or foam roller) behind your knees. Slowly sit back towards your heels wedging the mat between your hamstrings and calves. The pressure can be intense so only lean back to where you can breathe comfortably and hold for about 30 seconds.
