Knit Music Pullover This seamless pullover for children features a knitted music staff on the yoke, with a twisted stitch clef, and bead or bobble notes. Yarn Cascade 220 Superwash (worsted weight; 100% superwash wool; 220 yds/3.5 oz/100 g per skein): 3 (4, 4, 5) skeins or 660 (880, 880, 1100) yards light worsted weight yarn Needles US # 7 (4.5mm) 16” and 24” circular needles and dpns Notions 57 (60, 49, 51) size 4/0 or larger beads (optional) Stitch markers in 3 colors, waste yarn, cable needle, tapestry needle, preferred beading tool The pattern comes with treble clef and bass clef charts for all sizes, and written instructions. Only print the pages you need. Because the music design is fairly subtle, it works best with a smooth, solid yarn. The design gets lost in a variegated or tweed yarn. Cascade 220 Superwash is a light worsted weight. Several of my testers had to go down a needle size to achieve the proper gauge. My sample size 6 used almost all 660 yards.
