All 3 excerpts/passages are related and share a theme, which students will analyze and connect across genres (CCSS RL.9). This 19-question, 3-page activity asks students to annotate the text as well as answer questions that require critical thinking and is appropriate for students in grades 6-8. This activity makes an EXCELLENT test prep review for RL.6.9 and RL.6.2, RL.7.2, and RL.8.2.
