Sentence Chop is a fun game to teach and review how to segment sentences into words. Students will read or listen to sentences. They will then have to count how many words they hear or see in the sentence. Then they can move that many spaces on the gameboard. This is a great game to play at a station/center/with a small group. (2-4 players). It practices reading, listening, counting words, one to one correspondence, and cooperative play.
