Shedd Aquarium Chicago, IL This photo was taken on June 23rd, the night of the full "supermoon." Shedd Aquarium boasts 1500 species of critters living in 5 million gallons of water. It opened in 1930 and is one of the most popular cultural attractions in Chicago, with 2 million visitors annually. One of my absolute favorite places to visit in Chicago!
