Credit Peter Kelly. During the 1950's, my late father would occasionally take the family for a Sunday afternoon drive to the aerodrome to watch the aeroplanes come and go, a treat for me especially. One such visit during the 1956 Olympics, of Lockheed Constellation, suspected to be PH-LKN of KLM at Essendon, Melbourne Australia, trundles past a row of cars parked at the fence when you could do that!! The budding enthusiast in the sleeveless pullover at the fence, is me!
