I chose this picture for a pet I wish I had. It makes me sad how most people look at crows at dangerous and scary. Crows are very intelligent, and very loyal. They never forget a face or voice. I chose the picture because it kinda chimes into my love for space and the night, and the art feel to it.
In Greek mythology, Bolbe (Greek: Βόλβη) was an extremely beautiful Lake Goddess or Nymph who dwelled in a Thessalian lake of the same name (modern Lake Volvi). She was the daughter of Oceanus and Tethys. Like other lake Gods and Goddesses, Bolbe's offspring were Limnades who are Nymphs living in fresh water lakes. According to Athenaeus, Bolbe was the mother of Olynthus by Heracles.
Crow is an omen of change. Crows live in the void and have no sense of time, therefore being able to see past, present and future simultaneously. They unite both the light and the dark, both the inner and the outer. Crow is the totem of the Great Spirit and must be held with utmost respected. They are representations of creation and spiritual strength.
