JAVA SEA (May 24, 2013) Members of the Indonesian special forces unit Kopaska simulate seizing a room while being observed by ET1st Class Anthony Nekervis, assigned to Maritime Civil Affairs and Security Training (MCAST), during a joint Visit, Board, Search, and Seizure (VBSS) exercise aboard the amphibious dock landing ship USS Tortuga (LSD 46) as a part of Cooperation Afloat Readiness and Training (CARAT) 2013. More than 1,000 Sailors and Marines are participating in CARAT Indonesia 2013.
