Major General Smedley D. Butler Expose Fascist Coup in US. (1934)
"WAR is a racket... It is the only one in which the profits are reckoned in dollars and the losses in lives. A racket is best described...as something that is not what it seems to the majority of the people. Only a small "inside" group knows what it is about. It is conducted for the benefit of the very few, at the expense of the very many. Out of war a few people make huge fortunes." ~ MAJOR GENERAL SMEDLEY BUTLER

Eric Arthur Blair (25 June 1903 – 21 January 1950), better known by his pen name George Orwell, was an English author and journalist. Perhaps the twentieth century's best chronicler of English culture, Orwell wrote fiction, literary criticism and poetry. He is best known for the dystopian novel 'Nineteen Eighty-Four' (published in 1949) and the satirical novella 'Animal Farm' (1945)—they have together sold more copies than any two books by any other twentieth-century author.
