We often get asked why we never do a sale. But what does a sale mean? It means you're producing more than what the world needs - and that piece's value has to be lowered to get rid of it. But we wanna do things differently. We take out the things that don't add value to you: middlemen, retail markups, and sales tricks so you know exactly where your money goes. Not for marketing campaigns - but to change lives. #MadeRight #VillagesNotFactories Sales Tips, What The World, Ethical Fashion, Rid, Retail, Change, Money, Marketing, Sustainable Fashion

One artisan at a time, our first village now provides fair employment to over 30 craftswomen. Agent Of Change, Butterfly Effect, Ethical Clothing, Signature Collection, We Wear, Fast Fashion, Silk Scarves, Real Women, Fashion Brand

The people behind our KUPU collection

Starting with only 3 women, our Jlamprang village initiative now has trained and provided fair employment for 25 artisans. Every day, they come together to craft KUPU by hand, first tracing it with pencil and afterwards with hot wax. Like our handwriting, each is one-of-a-kind.

We believe you have the right to know what you are supporting. At SukkhaCitta, we go beyond fair trade. Because the world does not need another fashion brand. That's why we're constantly out of the office, running trainings that allow these craftswomen to thrive. This is the core of our work - access to education is key to lasting change. With every purchase, you make this possible. Thank you for changing the world with us. #MadeRight #VillagesNotFactories Daisy Dress, Dance With You, Change The World, Fair Trade, Believe In You, Fashion Brand, Indigo, How To Draw Hands, Core

Our very first #Batik Collection

Looking back to our first collection "KUPU". Inspired from the butterfly effect found in nature, where small things lead to big change. Interpreted into a modern and minimal pattern, we found it to be the perfect symbol to inspire Courage in us: dreamers, seekers, wanderers, as we pursue our dreams.

Freshly harvested Indigofera leaves are left for 2 nights in fresh mountain spring water to ferment to separate the blue dyes from the plants. This vat is then reduced with brown sugar to make sure it can stick on the fabric. One dip at a time, each fabric is dyed and dried 8-10x like this - always by hand. Using sugar doubles the cost and time taken, but it is much kinder to the artisans' hands and the Earth compared to using conventionally-used chemicals such as Hydrogen Sulfites. Crafted through a year of research, our new Rare Pink shade is naturally-dyed using herbal Sappan wood. Taking a week to dip, dye, and dry, each of the #MadeRight piece is steamed to open the cotton's pores. Patiently, the tannin is absorbed and create an unparalleled dreamy pink hue that is truly one-of-a-kind 🌿. #VillagesNotFactories Dip Dye, Pink Color, Hue, Herbalism, Artisan, Health Fitness, Create, Wood, Instagram
