Weisswurst - A Bavarian specialty created in Munich by a young butcher, Sepp Moser by accident on "Fasching Sunday" (Mardi Gras) 22nd Feb 1857. In the kitchen of "Zum ewigen Licht" he ran out of normal sausage skin. Guests shouted their displeasure at waiting. The only other skin he had, which was thin was used. Worried they would burst during frying, he put them in hot water for 10 mins. Taking the Weisswurst to the guests instead of abuse+criticism, he was heaped with praise+congratulations.
