The Wayang Museum (Indonesian: Museum Wayang) is a museum dedicated to Javanese wayang puppetry. The museum is located in west side of Fatahillah Square, Jakarta, Indonesia, near Jakarta History Museum and Fine Art and Ceramic Museum.
The Kite Museum displays a variety of both modern and traditional kites from across Indonesia as well as batik. As well as visiting the museum it is possible to make or paint your own kite. Ceramic and batik making is also on offer. Chinese Wayang Golek: The museum also stored collections of puppet that originated from other countries. This Cantonese Chinese Wayang Golek is the imitation of the 350 years old puppets which are owned by the Lie Sea family in Semarang.
