Someone once asked, "Who did Amorsolo not paint?" Somebody answered, "Imelda Marcos." But, as can be seen in this photo, National Artist Fernando C. Amorsolo did paint a portrait of Imelda at least once. That painting below the portrait shows President Ferdinand Marcos planting rice, perhaps to promote his government's Green Revolution Program. They say there's no Imelda Marcos portrait of Amorsolo as this was destroyed or not finished because Imelda didn't like the painting.
