It's an artificial Lake in Bangkalan, Madura, East Java. The water is clear and so calm. There are some pedal boats and row boats for everyone, as a vehicle to go around the lake. One boat can load two adults. Pedal it up everywhere on this hectares-wide lake with your friend or beloved.
Tor Tor dance is the main part of Batak ethnic’s life. It performs for three E: enlightenment, encouragement, or entertainment (exhibition). Tor Tor dance was previously used in ritual associated with spirits. The spirits are summoned and enter the stone statue, then the statue moves like dancing in stiff movement, like the dancers imitate.
Until today, some tribes in Indonesia use traditional weapons as tools for hunting, self-defensing, and yes, attacking someone or something. It's not only about sharpness, but also mystical power behind.
