tuna poke recipe 1/2 lb sashimi grade tuna cubed 4 green onions minced 1/4 cup rehydrated seaweed 2tsps toasted sesame seeds 2tsps soy sauce 1tsp sesame oil 1/2 tsp sugar 1/4 cut macadamia nuts finely chopped (optional) Murray River pink flack sea salt Toss everything together except the salt. Sprinkle salt over the poke and serve with rice.

I love Poke... From what I could tell the Ahi was cubed and mixed with mayo and siracha (perhaps a little red chili sauce) then the following ingredients were added: Thinly Sliced Cucumbers Imitation Crab Meat Tobiko (Flying Fish Roe) Avocado Red Onion Sweet Onion Hawaiian Salt And Maybe a little bit of lime?
Poke is another favorite by the people of Hawaii. It's any kind of fresh fish or seafood like Ahi, Marlin, Aku, crab, oysters, shrimp etc and made into separate dishes mixed with Hawaiian herbs such as sea salt, shoyu, dried sea weed, green or round onions, garlic and chili pepper for a lil kick :) It's delicious with some fresh Hawaiian Poi!!
California roll style poke. 1 lb imitation crab meat (use Okuhara brand if in Hawaii), 3 Japanese cucumbers, seeded & cut into 1/2" pieces, 2 Large avocados cut into 1/2" cubes, 3-4 heaping teaspoons mayonnaise, 1 teaspoon sesame oil, 1 tablespoon orange fish roe (sushi-grade). Prepare all ingredients, mix in a bowl and serve.
