Krechet ("Golden Falcon") space suit developed in the 1960s by the Soviets for lunar exploration. Some of the differences from the Apollo suit: the backpack life-support unit is hinged like a door to allow entry; the torso is a semi-rigid shell; and the chest control panel folds up out of the way.
